I don’t think about retirement, I’m too busy creating my future.
WINDSHIELD vs. REARVIEW MIRROR
I rarely look back on the year that was. Not saying that’s healthy or unhealthy, just how I roll. I’m forward fixated, have been my whole life. Maybe it’s because I’m fearful of looking back and noticing missed opportunities, unmet goals or feeling guilt and shame from buried intentions. I don’t know.
I think mostly it’s because today, THIS DAY, is poised with possibility. Yes, that’s it … sounds kinda good, so I’m sticking with it. Poised with Possibility.
HOWEVER
I was asked today what my biggest “win” was in 2023. I was quick to answer, “Launching this project known as Five Words In.”
I’ve come to know you and love you. I’m a better creator, entrepreneur and person because of my time with you each week. Thank you for your involvement and commitment to FWI, I’m grateful for each and all of you.
Ok, now that looking back is over, I have my sights set on loving what I do each day until my time on this side of heaven is over.
