😶 I Made it Awkward

We Pushed Through It - So Can You

YOU CAN’T HANDLE THE TRUTH

Yesterday, I led a 2-hour leadership and business development workshop for a financial company, and the main takeaway is something I believe can help you start growing your business right away.

LET’S GET REAL

We tackled several core topics:

  • Challenges

  • Opportunities

  • Communication

  • Culture

  • Goal Setting

But it was the final topic that made the biggest impact. Because without it, none of the other areas can fully take shape.

When I brought up Accountability, the room fell silent. We all like to think that we will follow through on our goals and plans. But then life happens, and what we were so determined to accomplish often gets pushed aside or forgotten.

That’s where accountability comes in. Staying accountable to the vision and the goals we set is what keeps them alive and moving forward.

For this group, I recommended using weekly progress reports, monthly one-on-ones, and peer partners to strengthen accountability across the organization.

They believe they can do it. I let them know I’d follow up in 30 days to check on their progress. You know, Accountability and stuff.

HOW ABOUT YOU?
