🏃‍♂️ Don’t Wait — Walk Toward Your Customers

I got Sunday schooled.

This past Sunday, my wife and I were running a booth at church for our Uganda school mission. The plan was simple: set up the table, smile, and hope people walked over.

But as people milled around, most never even glanced our way.

Then my wife said something that changed everything:
“Screw it, I’m doin’ it.”

She grabbed the QR code on her phone, stepped away from the booth, and started walking up to people:

“Hey! Would you mind scanning this and following our page? It helps you stay connected to how God is moving in Uganda.”

Every single person said yes.
Thirty new followers in ten minutes — not because we waited… but because we walked. (ok, ok, because SHE walked, haha)

Here’s the entrepreneurial truth:

🔑 Growth doesn’t come to the booth.

You have to step out from behind the table. (gulp)

Most entrepreneurs sit in “here’s my website, here’s my service, here’s my offer… hopefully people come.” But hope is not a strategy.

Your customers are out there.
They’re busy. Distracted. Doing life.
And they’re not thinking about you. (sorry)

If you want momentum, you have to go first.

Ask. Invite. DM. Follow up. Walk toward people.
It’s not pushy, it’s leadership.
It’s service.
It's giving someone a chance to benefit from what you carry.

And if the whole “walking up to strangers” thing scares you?

Just ask yourself:
“What if my next 30 customers are waiting for me to simply walk over and ask?”

Go get them.
Don’t wait behind the booth.
