Jeff Bezos recently shared what he terms as Amazon’s “Four Keys to Success” … and his number one key says it all: Customer Obsession
Be honest. Do you spend more time fixated on perfecting your product/service, or focusing on the needs and desires of your customer? My guess is that you’re running at 80-20 product first. Let’s flip that script for 30 days and find out what your customers really want.
What are their habits? Where do they hang out? Pain points? Hopes, desires and dreams? Frustrations? Become obsessed with finding out everything about your customer makeup. Walk in their shoes, even for a day.

‘Cuz I wanted her. And the more I knew, the better I could deliver.
It’s ok to love what you do. It’s ok to believe in your product and craft. But, if you want to turn your hobby into a business, if you want to move your side hustle to a main hustle, it’s time you become obsessed with who you’re creating your product and service for.
So, when I ask you about your perfect customer avatar tomorrow during our Five Words In meetup, hope you have a li’l better understanding of who they just might be.
