I can talk a good game. The key is being able to walk a good game.

After consulting with a few of my clients this week, I realized the advice and strategies I presented to them were not being applied and fleshed out in my current businesses. What the heck?! 🤦‍♂️

It’s easy to spot things that are missing or out of whack with other people’s stuff. I just don’t always take the time to reevaluate what I am producing and deploying. Those conversations made me take a long look in the business-owner mirror yesterday … and I didn’t like what I saw.

Thus, I’m taking a hard look at my websites, my social feeds and my newsletters today to make certain that I am delivering exactly what I tell other people to do.

DON’T SKIP BREAKFAST 🍳

So, let me ask … are you taking time to click around your website from a customer’s perspective? Is your messaging crystal clear? Have you outlined “next steps” for potential clients to do business with you?

Also, are your social feeds/newsletters/emails helping people understand the story of your business and what you are offering? Or, are you just busy being busy?

Evaluation is the breakfast of champions, and I skip breakfast most every morning. But, not today. Here’s to a new day of navel gazing … in a good way!
