ARE YOU NUTS?! YES. 🌪

One of my greatest joys in life right now is helping creatives and entrepreneurs turn their dreams into reality. My days are filled with instructing and guiding others on their business journey. And during the past 48 hours, I coached 48 entrepreneurs in a rapid-fire, deep-dive environment that yielded incredible results.

Intense. 😵‍💫 Exhausting. 🥵 Exhilarating. 🥳 

After two straight days spent with these passionate creatives and entrepreneurs, certain themes began to surface throughout the conversations. Nothing really surprised me, but they are worth mentioning. Here’s what I know after being in this game for quite a few years … high five me and let’s roll:

FIVE TRUTHS BE TOLD 🖐

1. The Monster Isn’t Under Your Bed, It’s in Your Head

   “Imposter Syndrome” runs rampant in entrepreneurial circles. The antidote for this is having a few people in your corner that are for you and speak the truth into you. Who is that in your situation? Find them.

2. The Turtle Still Triumphs Every Time

   Slow and steady wins the race. You’re not behind. Just be consistent. Your business is your baby, let it crawl before it walks, let alone runs. You’ll get there.

3. There’s a Market for That

   With 8 billion people roaming the planet, and more than half of those connected online, you can sell just about anything. Spend less time on your product/service and more time discovering where your customers are.

4. Your Superpower is Simply This

   There is nobody like you. Your mind, heart, passion … can’t be replicated. Because of this, write down 5 skills/gifts that you have and then determine how to leverage those to begin building your unique business.

5. Going Tribal

   Don’t skip this step. Creators and entrepreneurs (you) need to have a group of people to come around you for support, feedback, encouragement and accountability. Do you really think I created Five Words In just for you??? Haha, I’m selfish, but in a healthy way. Having others in my camp and corner makes all the difference in my life.
